The short version
- We collect business details that creators have made public, such as your profile, your stats and your business email, plus anything you send us.
- We use them to contact you one to one about paid work, and to run collaborations.
- Before we share your details with a client, we tell you which product it’s for and ask if that’s OK.
- We never sell personal data, and we never give clients your contact details.
- Reply “no thanks” to any of our emails and we’ll stop contacting you.
- Email [email protected] to see, correct or delete what we hold about you.

What we collect about creators
From public sources
Your profiles and posts on X, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn and newsletter platforms, and data tools that gather public profile statistics. This includes:
- your name or handle, and links to your profiles
- your follower or subscriber numbers
- what you post about, and how often
- likes, comments, reposts and views on your public posts
- where your audience seems to be, based on public information
- brands you’ve publicly worked with
- the business email address you’ve published
From you
- your rates, media kit and availability
- your drafts, post links and the stats screenshots you send us
- the details we need to pay you, such as your PayPal or Wise details and your invoices
Our own notes
- how well we think your content and audience fit a product, and how genuine your engagement looks
- a record of our emails and any work together
We don’t look for private information, such as your home address or personal phone number. If an invoice you send us includes your address, we keep it with our financial records.
What we collect about other people
- People at companies we work with or talk to: your name, role, work contact details, and our messages and agreements.
- People who email us: your email address and what you write.
How we use it, and our lawful basis
UK data protection law says we need a lawful basis for each way we use personal data. These are ours.
- Finding creators whose work fits the AI products we promote, and emailing you individually about paid collaborations
- Legitimate interests: ours in running our agency, and yours in hearing about paid work that fits your content. We only use business details you’ve made public, and you can opt out at any time.
- Sharing your details with a client
- Consent, which we ask for before each campaign. You can say no, or change your mind later.
- Agreeing terms, reviewing drafts, paying you and reporting results to the client
- Contract: our agreement with you for that collaboration.
- Keeping invoices and payment records
- Legal obligation: UK tax law.
- Remembering not to contact you, if you’ve asked us not to
- Legitimate interests: making sure we respect your choice.
- Emailing you about new paid briefs
- Consent: only if you’ve told us you want this. You can withdraw it at any time.
- Talking to and working with companies
- Legitimate interests, or contract once we work together.
How we contact creators
We write to each creator individually. We don’t send mass emails.
If you reply “no thanks”, we’ll stop. We keep your name, handle and email address on a do-not-contact list so we don’t contact you again by mistake.
We only add you to our list for new paid briefs if you ask us to.
How we use AI tools
We use AI tools to help us analyse public profile data and draft emails. A person reviews every score and shortlist, and decides who to contact. We don’t make decisions about you by automated means alone.
Sharing outside the UK
Most of our clients are AI companies based in China. When we share your details for a campaign, they’ll usually be handled in China. China’s data protection laws are different from the UK’s, and the UK hasn’t recognised them as giving the same level of protection. That’s why we ask for your consent before sharing your details with a client, and only share what the campaign needs.
Our service providers may process data outside the UK. They use the safeguards for international transfers set out in their terms.
How long we keep it
- Creator records: until 24 months after we were last in touch, then we delete them. We ask for fresh rates after 6 months.
- Do-not-contact list: for as long as we run the business.
- Invoices and payment records: at least 5 years after the 31 January tax return deadline for the year they relate to, as HMRC requires.
- Messages with companies: until 24 months after we were last in touch, unless they form part of our financial records.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- give you a copy of your data
- correct it
- delete it
- stop using it, or limit how we use it
- give you the data you provided in a format you can take elsewhere
You can object at any time to us using your data on the basis of legitimate interests. If you object to us contacting you, we’ll stop straight away.
To use any of these rights, email [email protected]. It’s free, and we’ll reply within 1 month.
Complaints
If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data, please tell us first at [email protected]. We’ll confirm we’ve received your complaint within 30 days, look into it and tell you the outcome.
You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) online at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or by phone on 0303 123 1113.
